Evaluating Existing Research
My first piece of evidence for this research standard is a literature review that myself, Ezra Spies, and Tia Blair wrote about peatlands and how adding and eliminating peatlands affect our world. My contributions are as follows: Introduction (pg2) and The Long-term Effects and Future of Peatlands (pg7-9).
The second piece of evidence to submit is a research essay from Phys 3500, a selected topics course covering particle physics. In this paper, I analyzed several published articles regarding particle therapy as a cancer treatment for humans.
The third piece of evidence to present is a literature assignment from the Chem 3140 course, Applied Analytical Chemistry, where I wrote a critical review of a published article’s sampling technique along with detailing why other procedures listed were reasonable choices by the researchers.
The final piece of evidence is the literature review that I wrote for my UREAP project proposal.
